The Humanity of Abstract Painting by Lisa Gorton

A History of the Siege by Petra White

Jesus in the straw hat paddock

by James Walton

hasn’t got the means to travel

up and down the stigmata

throws out what it can

depending on the apostate pressure

the dam’s a genuflecting kidder

air bubble aneurism gives

a Lazarus stagger in stroke

irrigation from hands and feet

how those rosary beads fly

all the loaves and fishes of water

azure shimmers of desire

the lance in the side

as the syphon breathes life again

into the syndicate of stones
